We Make Ordering Stair Treads Easy!
We only need five things from you in order to get started on your next estimate:
1. Wood Species
We can make stair treads in almost any hardwood. Our most popular species are Red Oak, White Oak, and Maple.
2. Dimensions: thickness, width, and length
If you have custom pieces, a sketch is always appreciated! Any returns? For a double return, make sure to include the length of the “throat”, or the length between the two returns.
3. Stain
A sample of the flooring is needed in order to ensure a perfect stain match. This may include wire-brushing, hand-scraping or two tone stain.
4. Finishing
We offer semi-gloss, satin, or ultra flat finish.
5. Will we ship these to you or are you picking up?
We ship overnight to the greater New England area and we are conveniently located just outside of Portland, 10 minutes off of I-95. With New England Treads, you are one call away from the shop floor. You order it, we make it, and we’ll have it ready in just two to three weeks.
